The primary difference between a mortgage finance real estate appraisal and a Relocation Appraisal is that while a mortgage finance appraisal is used primarily to determine "market value", a Relocation Real Estate Appraisal is used to determine the market value of a piece of real estate within a defined marketing period, as defined by the relocation company ordering the appraisal, usually between 90 and 120 days. Our appraisers understand this distinction, and will use all available data to determine a reasonable sales price within this period in order to insure a quick turnaround on the property.
